Launched at the Catholic Bishops' Conference of India
Pilgrimstays was launched in Bangalore on 16 February 2020 at the plenary of the Catholic Bishops Conference of India. The website was launched by His Eminence Oswald Cardinal Gracias, President of the CBCI and Archbishop of Mumbai — in the presence of His Eminence Cardinal George Alencherry and His Eminence Baselios Cardinal Cleemis Catholicos.
This significant honour and affirmation from the Church's highest leadership in India affirmed the mission we have set out on — making the sacred accessible to every pilgrim, scholar, and curious traveller.

Pilgrimstays is focused on Christian Travel and Experiences in India and around the world — for people of all faiths and backgrounds who want to experience the rich heritage, art, culture and history associated with Christianity.
Christianity is the third largest religion in India with about 3% of the population — 30 million people — and it may surprise many global travellers, but its history in India is claimed to go back to 52 AD. Over the centuries, the Christian community has made significant contributions to India in the fields of art, science, healthcare and education. There are numerous examples of churches, guesthouses, shrines, forts, natural resources and festivals, all of which hold stories waiting to be told.
We also organise group tours focused on different segments — youth, senior citizens, families, school children, and scholars — experiences that appeal broadly to those looking to strengthen their personal connection with Christian heritage, or simply to discover some of the world's most extraordinary places of worship and art.
